Designed by a former kennel manager and state humane officer with 40 years
experience in working with dogs, the harness was created for use with
in-season or incontinent female dogs, to prevent spotting and soiling
of your carpets and furniture without the hassle of using diapers. The
harness gives your dog full freedom of motion. There is much less matting
and soiling of the dog's coat, and there are no garments to wash. A small
disposable panty liner placed inside the soft mesh guard does the trick,
and the deodorant factor in the liner also reduces odors. For dogs in
season who must be walked on a public street or in a park, the mesh guard
offers a degree of protection against unwanted breeding. The harness is
adjusted to fit so that there's no need to take it off in order for her
to eliminate. To go outside, just remove the liner. The mesh guard allows
urine to pass freely through. With the harness properly in place, she
cannot be easily bred. The handler is given time to remove the dog to
a safe location away from unwanted males. The complete harness weighs
less than one ounce, and comes in neon pink for ease of visibility. It's
also available in black for those who prefer a lower profile. Made of
reinforced rubber mesh, nylon collar webbing and elastic, it's adjustable
and completely washable. Just rinse it out. Less expense, less hassle,
and more comfort for your dog.
NOTE: The harness is NOT a substitute for responsible pet ownership.
Owner discretion is required. There is never a guarantee against
a really determined dog. Unless you want a surprise litter of puppies,
your in-season female should be securely confined or under adult supervision,
even if she's wearing the harness. It's always best to keep your dog in
a secure location, but when that just isn't possible --- use Kennelmasters!
